بموجب مرسوم صادر من رئاسة الجمهورية تم تعيين الوزير الأسبق السيد المختار ولد اجاي مديرا لديوان رئيس الجمهورية.
وقد تمكن ولد اجاي بجدارة من النجاح في المهمة الحزبية التي أسندت له في انواكشوط خلال الإنتخابات الجهوية والبلدية والنيابية.
